Chaitra Navratri 2024 began on 9th April 2024. According to the Hindu calendar, Chaitra Navratri commences on the Pratipada Tithi (first day) of the Shukla Paksha of the Chaitra month and concludes on the Navami Tithi (ninth day). During the 9 days of Navratri, devotees worship the 9 forms of Goddess Durga. Fasting is also observed during this time. 3. Illumination of Lamps: As per religious customs, during the 9 days of Navratri, women should light lamps in front of the image of Goddess Durga every morning and evening.
